Getting Around
Metro, bus, taxis and the Roma Pass: everything you need to get around with ease.
Metro and bus
- The nearest metro stop is Manzoni (line A), a few minutes’ walk from the apartment.
- Bus line 714 and tram 3 conveniently connect other parts of the city.
- The three metro lines A, B and C, together with nearby trams and buses, allow you to get around Rome quickly.
Taxi
Several taxi ranks are located nearby. Alternatively, you can book a ride conveniently via apps like myTaxi or Free Now.
The Roma Pass
The Roma Pass is an official tourist card designed to make visiting the city easier, with savings on transport and admission to the main sites and museums.
Durations and prices
- Roma Pass 48 hours: valid for 48 hours from first use, includes free admission to the first site or museum of your choice. Indicative price: about €32.
- Roma Pass 72 hours: valid for 72 hours from first use, includes free admission to the first two sites or museums of your choice. Indicative price: about €52.
Transport included
- Unlimited use of ATAC buses, trams and metro (lines A, B/B1 and C).
- Also valid on the Roma-Lido, Roma-Viterbo (urban section) and Roma-Giardinetti urban railway lines.
- Does not include connections to/from Fiumicino or Ciampino airports.
Free and discounted admissions
- 1 free admission with the 48-hour card, 2 free admissions with the 72-hour card.
- Discounted rates for numerous other museums and attractions, such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Castel Sant’Angelo and the Capitoline Museums.
- For some sites, such as the Colosseum, advance booking is still recommended.
Other benefits
- Priority (fast-track) access, without queuing, at many attractions.
- Discounts on events, exhibitions and cultural services listed in the official Roma Pass guide.

The Roma Pass is especially convenient for those who want to visit several attractions in a short time and use public transport frequently, saving valuable time by avoiding ticket queues.
